For Immediate Release

Dealership Appoints Bret Stegeman as Operations Manager, Hires Sales Managers Tane Moore and Gary Sipes

DALLAS (July 30, 2004) — With company sales up 31 percent from a year ago, Rick Fairless’ Strokers Dallas is putting a new team in place to manage the fast-paced growth and to oversee new customer service programs. The dealership has promoted Bret Stegeman to the new position of Operations Manager. It also has hired Tane Moore as Motorcycle Sales Manager and Gary Sipes as Sales Manager.

“This is an exciting time for Strokers employees and for our customers,” said Rick Fairless, owner of the eight-year-old dealership. “The market for custom bikes, either production made or one-off, is continuing to climb, and everyone involved in this industry is reaping the reward.”

Stegeman has been with Strokers for two years as motorcycle sales manager. In his new role, he will help guide the dealer’s operations at-large, from sales functions to marketing and retail programs. Before joining Rick Fairless’ Strokers Dallas, Stegeman owned a Harley-Davidson motorcycle rental store and before that worked as a manager in multimedia and video production for Irving-based Michaels Stores. With 15 years of management experience, Stegeman is a retired member of the Army National Guard and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcasting from Southwest Missouri State University.

Moore will steer the sales growth of new and used motorcycles and trailers at the dealership, as well as manage vendor and lender relationships. He was formerly special projects manager for JMK Holdings, a private holding company in Fort Worth, where he negotiated and managed key real estate developments and other niche business ventures. Prior to this, he spent eight years in national and regional sales management positions for the electronics and chemical manufacturing industries. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University.

Sipes will serve as the store’s factory custom bike specialist, looking after the sales of specific production custom lines, including American IronHorse and Big Dog. In the position, he also will take charge of any finance and insurance dealings for Strokers customers. Sipes recently worked for Yamaha Motor Corp. as district sales manager for the company’s Michigan region, overseeing sales and events for the motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile and scooter markets. Before this, he managed motorcycle retail accounts in 10 states as a dealer relations manager for American IronHorse Motorcycle Co. in Fort Worth. Sipes majored in business at Baylor University.
