DALLAS (November 30, 2004) — Rick Fairless, veteran custom bike builder and owner of the Dallas motorcycle haven, Strokers Dallas and Strokers Ice House, has acquired the long-time Dallas-based chrome plating and powder coating shop Show & Go. The deal is quite an expansion for the Strokers enterprise, which is moving up as an all-in-one motorcycle destination for customizes and joy riders nationwide.
Fairless plans to build on Show & Go’s 23-year old reputation producing showroom style bikes for riders and expand its list of national contracts with motorcycle manufacturers, builders and other companies. Strokers sells both production custom brands and builds special “one-off” Rick Fairless bikes for riders.
“This is such a huge deal for Strokers,” said Rick Fairless. “For many years, Show & Go has been one of the go-to shops for chrome plating and powder coating services across the board in the industry. I’ve been a customer for years. I’m really looking forward to setting the roadmap ahead and joining Show & Go with Strokers’ high-end manufacturing and retail operations for riders.”
