Rick Fairless Hits the Airways With New Talk Radio Show

Dallas, TX (September 14, 2007)- First he conquered television, then there was print, and now Rick Fairless, owner Rick Fairless’ Strokers Dallas, has embarked on yet another media venture by taking over Sunday morning radio. As the host of a new show called “The Texas Hardtails Scooter Show with Rick Fairless” on Dallas’ Live 105.3 FM, Fairless is taking over the airwaves every Sunday morning from 8:00-9:00 AM CST.
The show is talk format, featuring host Rick Fairless, his long-time buddy Joe T. Moore, assistant Meghan DeFreeuw, and radio show producer Lee Harris. Together the group discusses the motorcycle industry, current events, sports, and whatever else comes to mind. Each week the group also interviews industry big shots, such as Dave Perewitz, Kim Suter, Nick Messer, and Donnie Smith. With regular features, such as the Top Ten List, the weekly Pamela Anderson update appropriately dubbed “Pam Watch,” and call-ins from Rick’s wife, mom, and buddies, the show is comedic and rarely ever politically correct.
“We’re trying to do something different here. I wanted this radio show to be similar to my TV show where people can get an idea of who I am and what I do but also be entertained at the same time,” said Fairless. “We’re not trying to pack the hour full of technical information or news. We’re trying to add some fun to our industry by discussing interesting topics and people.”
For listeners outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, the show can be accessed online at www.Live1053.com. Listeners can call in to the studio at 214-787-1053 or text comments to 43733. They can also email the show at texas.hardtails@gmail.com.
