The Spring Fling got started on Friday night & it was cold & very windy. The crowd was pretty good & we did the Bad Tattoo contest & it was a good time. We also had the Bring In The Weekend Party from KZPS 92.5 which went very well.

On Saturday the weather sucked. 37-50 degrees with a very cold north wind up to 40mph. My booking agent, Mary Jo, called me Saturday morning & she asked me how upset am I with the weather. I told her, “What does the word suicidal mean to you?” Yeah, I was upset. But ya know, we still had about 300 bikes come through on Saturday & I want to thank those brave people. We postponed the Wet T-Shirt contest until Saturday April 18^th, which is when I already have my Rick’s Garage Sale scheduled. That will be cool, you don’t want to miss that!

Then, on Sunday of the Spring Fling, all I can say is WOW! The weather started out a chilly 37 degrees, but it warmed up to a beautiful 70 degrees. We had over 5000 bikes come through our doors. It was as busy as I have seen it. It was off the hook. We blocked cars off Shorecrest St. & we had the bikes lined up in 4 rows all the way down the street! The bikini contest went great & everyone had a swell time. We took pictures & video taped the bikini contest & you can see it all on my website now. Pictures are up here & here & videos are coming soon. I think that it’s a wonderful thing when you can get that many people, on bikes together & not have one single problem. I’m proud of that.

I’m happy with the way the Spring Fling came out & I’m happy that ya’ll came out to support Strokers. If I haven’t told you lately, I sure appreciate ya’ll more than you’ll ever know & I mean that! So, whatever you need please let me know. Thanks for making me a “Lucky Chump From Texas.”
