Rick’s Movie Review

hauntingThe Haunting In Connecticut:

OK, so here’s how it went down. My wife Sue wanted to see the movie DUPLICITY with Julia Roberts. She knows I’m not a fan of Julia or her movies. I mean, she’s a pretty good actress, but as far as actresses go she can’t hold a candle to a really fine actress like Pam Anderson! So, anyway, we bought tickets to see DUPLICITY & when we got to the theatre, it was in the little bitty theatre in the back of the building. Sue believes that if a newly released movie is already in the peewee theatre that it can’t be very good.

So, she noticed that another movie that was in the big theatre was starting at the same time, so she wanted to see it instead. Well, I’m OK with pretty much any movie. The movie we wound up seeing was THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT. Sue usually doesn’t like scary movies, but she knows I do, so we saw it. I slept through about half of the show & I should have slept through the other half! The half I saw wasn’t very good. I usually like movies that are based on a true story, but this one was too weird. Dead people that look like zombies & only “special” people could see them. I think I could write a better movie than this one.

OK, I got it, I’ll write a move about a girl that is in relentless pursuit of a man, starring me & Demi Moore. As for THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT, RICK SEZ: I’d rather watch a MUNSTERS repeat!
