My wife yelled at me last night for scuffing up the floor with my boots on. So, I decided to take my bike for a quick spin to cool off. Now she’s really mad!

RICK’S MOVIE REVIEW – UP IN THE AIR
A week or so ago I saw a disappointing movie called Up In The Air.
It starred George Clooney as a guy who travels the country to fire people. They hire a young gal & send her with George & he’s supposed to train her.
George is afraid of a personal commitment with women. He finally has one after going to his sister’s wedding. Then, the gal he digs turns out to be a playboy like George.
Yes, folks, you guessed it, IT’S A CHICK FLICK!
I slept through about 1/3rd of the movie & the sad part is I couldn’t fall back asleep even though I was trying.
Rick sez: ATTN GUYS: AVOID THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS.

Hopefully ya’ll already know that my best pal Joe T & I do a weekly radio show that is broadcast here on my website. We do the show “almost live” right here in the C.H.U.M.P. studio. We do the show every Sunday morning & we post it on my website no later than every Friday. It’s recorded in audio & video. Joe T & I talk about everything from the Dallas Cowboys to Pam Anderson & we even throw in some motorcycle talk. It’s kind of a “Boys Clubhouse” kind of show. In other words, it has a lot of adolescent humor. Girls don’t always find the show so funny, so we don’t allow any girls to listen to our show, but the guys really dig it. Joe T & I make fun of white women & other assorted dumasses.
Recently, Joe T announced to me & the entire world that he has a midget fetish. Yes, he wants to “make it” with a midget lady. I’ve been best friends with Joe T for 20 years & I never knew about his fondness for midgets. Personally, I don’t think I would have announced that to the entire world!
We also do some interviews from time to time. We have interviewed Jesse James, Vinnie DeMartino, Cory Ness, Dave & Jody Perewitz, Paul Teutal SR & Paul Teutal JR & many more people in our industry. A few weeks ago we even interviewed one of Tiger Wood’s mistresses, #69. You can hear/watch the show by clicking on the TEXAS HARDTAILS SCOOTER SHOW icon of my home page, or by clicking here. You can enjoy the latest show or even enjoy any of the past shows. Let me know how you like it. Remember, no girls allowed.

Last week we saw IT’S COMPLICATED with Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin & Steve Martin.
Actually, I liked this movie ok. Meryl Streep was pretty good & I thought Alec Baldwin & Steve Martin did a fantastic job. I usually don’t like movies like this, but I did like this one. I only slept through the previews & I stayed awake during the entire movie.
Rick Sez: Go see the movie cheapskate, the economy could use the influx of dough!

This past week brought DFW the coldest weather we have seen since 1996.
We saw temperatures fall in the low teens & I’m here to tell you that we don’t like it one bit. I even had some of my water pipes freeze & bust. We had to leave water running every night & leave the thermostats turned on low. What? That’s just not something we are used to doing here in Texas.
You Yankees can keep that junk up there cause we don’t want any part of it. I don’t like cold weather & I don’t like anybody that does like cold weather!
Bring on the heat!

Hey Ya’ll. It’s January 2010 & it’s cold in Texas. I don’t know about you but I’m ready to kick this cold weather in the teeth!
Join us this Thursday (1/7/2010) for the kick off of our Fairless Freeze for All. We’ll check the temperature every hour & as the temps drop, so do our drink prices. Starting at 6pm, if the temp is below 40 degrees, we’ll serve up $3.50 U-Call-Its. If it’s below 30 degrees, it’ll only cost ya $3.00. If it’s below 20 degrees, you’re only paying $2.50. We’ll keep checking the temp every hour & adjusting prices as we go. Sounds like a good deal to me!

For the kick-off on Thursday, we’ll also have lots of Jack Daniel’s give-aways & games & free pizza at 8:00pm. It’ll be a swell time. C-Ya there.
