Last week we saw IT’S COMPLICATED with Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin & Steve Martin.
Actually, I liked this movie ok. Meryl Streep was pretty good & I thought Alec Baldwin & Steve Martin did a fantastic job. I usually don’t like movies like this, but I did like this one. I only slept through the previews & I stayed awake during the entire movie.
Rick Sez: Go see the movie cheapskate, the economy could use the influx of dough!

This past week brought DFW the coldest weather we have seen since 1996.
We saw temperatures fall in the low teens & I’m here to tell you that we don’t like it one bit. I even had some of my water pipes freeze & bust. We had to leave water running every night & leave the thermostats turned on low. What? That’s just not something we are used to doing here in Texas.
You Yankees can keep that junk up there cause we don’t want any part of it. I don’t like cold weather & I don’t like anybody that does like cold weather!
Bring on the heat!

Hey Ya’ll. It’s January 2010 & it’s cold in Texas. I don’t know about you but I’m ready to kick this cold weather in the teeth!
Join us this Thursday (1/7/2010) for the kick off of our Fairless Freeze for All. We’ll check the temperature every hour & as the temps drop, so do our drink prices. Starting at 6pm, if the temp is below 40 degrees, we’ll serve up $3.50 U-Call-Its. If it’s below 30 degrees, it’ll only cost ya $3.00. If it’s below 20 degrees, you’re only paying $2.50. We’ll keep checking the temp every hour & adjusting prices as we go. Sounds like a good deal to me!

For the kick-off on Thursday, we’ll also have lots of Jack Daniel’s give-aways & games & free pizza at 8:00pm. It’ll be a swell time. C-Ya there.

I have said many times over the years, “Never trust a white woman.”
Today, more than ever, I stand by that statement!

Joe T & I went to a recent Cowboys game. We sat in a suite & we had a swell time.
The new Cowboy Stadium is awesome. I sure miss the old Texas Stadium, but I guess Jerry wanted this new Billion Dollar stadium.
How about the last game where Dallas beat the undefeated New Orleans Saints? It was wonderful! Nobody gave Dallas a chance – except me & Joe.
WE BELIEVE!
