New 2012 Victory’s Just Released!

On Tuesday, July 26th, Victory introduced their new 2012 motorcycle lineup at their dealer meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. They have some really great stuff lined up for 2012!

All Cross Countrys and Cross Roads now come standard with ABS brakes. There is a new fully loaded Cross Country Tour starting at $21,999, which comes standard with ABS Brakes, heated seat, and grips, Victory comfort control system, tall touring windshield, saddlebag rails, HID headlight, adjustable passenger floorboards, and a removable tour pack.

The 2012 Vision Tour is now available in new color combinations and the new Ness Vision looks incredible. Also, the Cross Roads LE a special edition Cross Roads with a special paint, spoke wheels, fender bumpers, and running lights.

Well, Strokers Dallas has got it’s first Can-Am Spyder in on consignment and this thing is COOL!

The Spyder feels like the fastest ATV you’ve ever ridden. Just turn the handlebars in the direction you want to go and let the tires do the rest. The Can-Am Spyder has electrically boosted power steering, so the steering effort is far less than you’d expect.

This Can-Am sports a Rotax 990 engine and shows only 23,100 actual miles!
Like a motorcycle, you twist the handlebar-mounted throttle and go. Shift the sequential five-speed gearbox (complete with reverse gear) with your left foot. You operate the brake pedal with your right foot. 

There’s a surprising amount of cornering grip. The twin front tires are 165/65R14s, and they’re controlled by upper and lower wishbones that offer 5.7 inches of travel. The drive tire is a 225/50R15, and the swingarm and monoshock also deliver 5.7 inches of travel.
It has a 68-inch wheelbase and a front track of 51.5 inches, plus it weighs 697 pounds (dry). You’ve got 106 horsepower to play with, though, and the broad power band of a V-Twin engine makes the Spyder very tractable.

If you’re afraid that the Spyder might skate out from underneath you, don’t be. There’s a car-like safety net of electronics to keep you on the road. It starts with antilock brakes and electronic brakeforce distribution. The Spyder also has Bosch stability control that cuts the throttle and applies the brakes to stop a slide, and it’s calibrated for an antirollover function. There’s even traction control.
